Designing and ordering
Howdens depots offer a free design service. Before you sign off the order, ask your fitter to check the plan against the room. We often adjust filler sizes, check window heights and confirm appliance housings so the kitchen fits first time.
Rigid units make fitting faster
Howdens cabinets are supplied rigid (already assembled). That means less assembly time on site and a more robust kitchen. The skill is in levelling, scribing and aligning the units perfectly on uneven London floors and walls.
Worktops and finishing
Howdens offers laminate, solid wood and other worktops. Laminate and wood are cut and jointed on site; stone worktops are templated after the units are fixed. Plinths, cornice, pelmets and end panels are finished carefully so the kitchen looks the same as in the brochure.
Appliances and services
Lamona appliances and other integrated models are installed to specification. Our own team handles plumbing and electrical work, and gas hobs are connected by a Gas Safe registered engineer. You receive the relevant certificates at handover.
