Magnet kitchens combine classic and contemporary designs with solid build quality. If you have bought — or are about to buy — a Magnet kitchen and want an independent fitter, here is how we approach the job.
Plan check before you order
We visit, measure and compare your Magnet design against the actual room. Small changes at this stage, such as adjusting a filler or a tall unit position, prevent problems on installation day.
A typical Magnet installation
- Protection of floors and access routes.
- Removal and disposal of the old kitchen.
- First-fix plumbing and electrics, with any wall preparation.
- Fitting base, wall and tall units, followed by doors, drawers and panels.
- Worktops: laminate and wood cut on site; stone templated and fitted later.
- Appliances, sink and tap connected; gas hob connected by a Gas Safe engineer.
- Splashbacks, tiling, sealing, decorating and final clean.
Shaker and painted kitchens
Many Magnet customers choose shaker or painted doors. These styles show every misalignment, so careful levelling and door adjustment are essential. We take the time to align every gap so the kitchen looks crisp.
Why an independent fitter
Using an independent installer means you have one point of contact for every trade, flexible scheduling and a single fixed price. Our workmanship is guaranteed in writing, and we install everything to manufacturer specification so your product warranties remain valid.

Frequently asked questions
Can you fit a Magnet kitchen with a range cooker?
Yes. We fit range cookers and the surrounding units and, where a gas range is used, the connection is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
Do painted Magnet doors need special care during fitting?
Painted and shaker doors show every misalignment, so we take extra time to adjust hinges and drawer runners for even gaps, and handle doors carefully to protect the finish.
Can you also fit flooring?
We can coordinate flooring as part of the project. Discuss the sequence with us, as some floors are laid before the units and others after.
Do you work in my area?
We cover Central and West London, including Westminster, Camden, Kensington and Chelsea, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham and Richmond. Contact us if you are just outside these areas.
